Welcome to Riverside Secondary School Band Homepage


Riverside band is an avenue for students to appreciate music, and to attain music knowledge and to master the playing of the instrument assigned.
We learn and have fun at the same time.

Besides having practices and sectionals, the band also have frequent exchanges with other schools, competitions and performances in the school and also outside of school. Members are also encouraged to attend concerts by other bands.

Attendance and punctuality is a priority in the band.
Absentees have to issue an MC or passport to conductor or Teacher I/C.
Late comers will be dealt with by the majors.

Each member have to stick only to their instrument and is not allowed to touch or play other instruments. If found to be doing so, he/she would be reported to the QMs and then, to the majors. The same thing would happen if the instrument/its part dropped or misplaced.


Achievements

The band took part in SYF '03 and we attained a Bronze award.
